We are actively encouraging adults to participate in an exercise program as it has positive benefits for people with diabetes, cholesterol, heart disease, and depression. Exercise also helps to reduce pain. Most people can exercise without visiting the doctor first BUT there are points to consider before starting to exercise or increasing exercise intensity

  • Signs/symptoms of certain diseases
  • Planned exercise intensity.

We follow the “Exercise is Medicine” protocols when prescribing exercise programs for patients. Please visit one of our physios if you are worried about resuming exercises. We are able to start you off on a safe journey towards better health and fitness.
